IBM - Business Challenge:
  Build deep online relationships with a range of information technology business professionals to generate "sales-ready" leads and improve close rates and shorten selling cycles.

Marketing Advocate Solution:  An online resource center / lead nurturing system organized around key business roles (Security Management, Operations and Storage Management, Communications Service Providers, and Production and Delivery Managers).  Site visitors get full access to all site content titles and descriptions, but must register one time to get the actual content.  The site makes personalized recommendations to each site visitor based on his online activities.  Automated emails are also sent to the site visitors providing personalized content recommendations based on their actions.  Sales-ready leads are routed via IBM's CRM system for telemarketing team follow up and close.  This entire solution is available in nine languages to support IBM's global marketing needs.

The Results:  IBM has received much more nurtured / qualified sales leads that have shortened selling cycles and improved close rates.  The program has achieved a very attractive ROI and has exceeded IBM's goals for revenue generation.

Dell - Business Challenge:
Provide a global partner portal / partner marketing system to support all aspects of Dell's channel ""Partner Direct"" business.

Marketing Advocate Solution:  The MA web marketing system was configured to support all aspects of Dell's channel partner strategy and partner marketing systems. Marketing Advocate provides a comprehensive partner acquisition and on-boarding system for acquiring and managing partners in global regions for Dell in 19 languages.  Partners are presented a range of content that can be viewed as a potential partner and a much larger range once the partner is approved by Dell based on their approved access level.  All partner activities are tracked and scored by topic area within the site.  This is used to help with cross-sell / up-sell and development of new revenue growth opportunities. 

The Results:  Dell has built a global channel business with the use of the Marketing Advocate system in excess of $1 billion and is expected to grow substantially in the next few years

Xerox - Business Challenge:
Provide Xerox resellers with a marketing system to help them more effectively sell against lower cost competitors with a strong total business value selling proposition.

Marketing Advocate Solution:  MA provided a co-branded resource center / marketing system that can be easily replicated and customized for individual Xerox partners.  This system is organized around key business needs / reasons to buy for target customers.  These include topics like managing network printing costs, green printing, and security and productivity.  Partners are provided a cobranded site, monthly email campaigns sent to their permission list, and paid and organic search efforts to drive additional traffic.  Site visitors are registered, all activity is tracked, the site is personalized to their needs, automated emails are sent to further nurture, and when the site visitors are "sales ready" they are routed to the partner for follow up and close.

The Results:  Both Xerox partners and Xerox corporation have achieved an very attractive ROI with this program.
